| Step 1. Choose names |

Use the drop-down box to select the name of the target list holding the customers to be targeted that you previously developed. Set the name of the email campaign itself. Use a descriptive name that includes the target list name, such as email060821.targetlistname |
| Step 2. Set email headings |
|
Pick a name for the "sender" of the email. The email will come from sendername@yourcompany.com. Check the box corresponding to the subject field template you want, or develop your own custom template. Use the View Templates button to see the standard subject field templates. |
| Step 3. Email body |
|
You set the copy for the email. You can either use a previously developed body text template chosen from the drop-down box, a generic template, or a new one that you create now. Use the View body templates button to see the set available to you. Templates can have variable fields that pull customer-specific information from the database. |
Step 4. Set the date when the email campaign launches |
|
Either enter the date in the format mm/dd/yyyy or use the Calendar button to point-and-click your selection. The Cost field will display the charge for the campaign. |
| Step 5. Launch |
|
When everything is set to your satisfaction, press the Launch button to start the campaign. Your account will not be charged until you press this button. |
