How It Works

Longbow functions as an ecommerce portal with six tabs, corresponding to its four main functions, plus two housekeeping tabs..  The Data tab uploads data from accounting files.  This is the first step in the process, the place where a company uploads its data into Loyalty Builders’ analytics engine.  The Reports tab is the place to view and download company-level charts and reports based on the uploaded data.  The Test tab helps you design and track marketing tests to determine the most effective offers and targets. From the Campaign tab you can immediately launch email or print direct marketing campaigns. The My Account housekeeping tab keeps track of how much money a company has spent (at a maximum cost of $100 per 1000 records) downloading prospect lists.

The heart of the system is the Target tab.  Here is where a marketer works with the analyzed data by setting selection criteria for prospects, downloading customer names that match the criteria and seeing the results of previous campaigns.  As the marketer adjusts the selection criteria, Longbow shows the number of customers matching those criteria, the expected response rate and the expected revenue from the ensuing campaign.  For the first time, a marketer can do ‘what if’ campaign planning based on accurate predictive analytics.
